House of Cards
Well, Isaac and I are sitting in the Cougareat after a very good New Testament class, waiting for one of my friends to meet me for lunch. It has been a crazy, whirlwind couple weeks since I started school, I can't believe how fast the time is going. The craziest thing about all of this, is how well everything is going. I am caught up on my classes and enjoying them, going to and enjoying my ward, getting to be buddies with my roommates (who are pretty cool guys,) work is going well, and I'm just having a really good time. So, for the first time in a really long time I feel like all the pieces fit together, and everything is going the way I want it to. So, what do I do? I start worrying that everything is going to fall apart. I know this is a super negative, glass is half empty kind of thing but I feel like it's a house of cards ready to fall any second, (probably during midterms to really mess with me.) But I've decided that while I have everything going my way I am going to enjoy it. I am going to stop worrying about what could happen. I mean I might get a little bit ahead in my homework just in case but other than that I am just gonna roll with it. Now I'm going to go get some Subway with my friends, talk about the pro's and con' of Obama, and go with the flow.

Let me take a card from your house: what's Obama got besides platitudes?
Love, your sister who, if not for a cranky baby, would have made it to the post office to mail her change in voter registration to---wait for it--Republican. Go Mitt! :)
But seriously...you're in control of your life, Jackson...you're getting it together...you can keep it together...just remember the good and bad choices of the past. And remember that actually talking to your sister as a new mommy brings good luck.
jack's got it together?
Bring on the apocalypse!
I am actually reading Cormac's "the road" so I have world destruction on my mind.
Good job dude... I am super happy for you.
Way to go, Jack! It's a great feeling to have fun and get stuff done at the same time. PS - would love to hear your pro's and con's about Obama. Maybe I'm admitting too much (I hope Marc Bohn is not reading this) but I still have not been able to 100% decide on a candidate. Just when I think I have decided, one of those positive, fluffy, change the world Obama ads comes on TV and I get sucked in to his charm.
It took me awhile to figure out exactly who Isaac is. No wonder you get along so well with him.
I think I would have named him Newton instead, but the names pretty brilliant.
